Preparation And Usage
To use McDougalls Thickening Granules 1. Bring dish or liquid to the boil. 2. Remove from the heat and stir in the Thickening Granules. You'll need approximately 2 tablespoons for every 300 ml (1/2 pint) of liquid. 3. Place back on the heat and continue stirring, using either a whisk or a fork, until all the granules dissolve and the liquid thickens. For extra thickness, simply stir in more granules. 4. Season to taste. For a smooth White Sauce Bring 300 ml (1/2 pint) milk and 25 g (1 oz) butter to the boil. Remove from heat and add Thickening Granules as directed above and season.
